Responsibilities
- Lead C-level application modernization strategy discussions, workshops, and executive briefings.
- Design and lead proof-of-value work for application transformation clients.
- Provide subject-matter expertise in application remediation, infrastructure, software, and integration technologies.
- Validate modernization solutions, own technical and functional deliverability, and obtain sign-off.
- Collaborate with delivery, sales, and partner teams to shape proposals and execute engagements.
- Lead legacy-environment assessments and define refactor, replatform, replace, and other modernization strategies.
- Establish modernization frameworks and enforce architectural standards across programs.
- Apply AI agents across analysis, design, build, test, deployment, and operations.
- Develop agentic AI accelerators, reference architectures, and reusable assets.
- Guide engineering, data, and DevOps teams on AI automation and pipeline integration.
- Provide technical leadership and mentor solution architects.
- Travel occasionally for high-value client engagements.
Requirements
- 6–8 years of experience designing and developing enterprise-scale applications.
- Strong software engineering foundation across frontend, backend, APIs, data, and cloud architecture.
- Expertise in C# or Java; Python and TypeScript/JavaScript experience is advantageous.
- Proven experience applying agentic AI to legacy modernization or custom application development.
- Hands-on experience with agentic AI frameworks such as Microsoft Agent Framework and LangChain, or equivalents.
- Experience applying AI agents across requirements, architecture, coding, testing, documentation, and deployment.
- Experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, open models, and orchestration patterns.
- Strong Azure expertise is preferred.
- Extensive agentic engineering experience with GitHub Copilot and/or Claude Enterprise is preferred.
- Experience integrating AI into distributed systems, microservices, APIs, and event-driven architectures.
- DevOps experience including infrastructure as code, automated testing, observability, and deployment automation.
- Familiarity with Responsible AI and enterprise governance.
- Cloud, AI engineering, or architecture certifications are a plus.
- Ability to lead business transformation and client conversations about AI application transformation.
- Clear communication skills across senior technical and non-technical stakeholders.
