Responsibilities
- Drive functional and regression automation testing projects independently.
- Design and execute manual, functional, regression, exploratory, ad-hoc, smoke, usability, UI/UX, accessibility, and localization tests.
- Develop and maintain automation frameworks using Playwright with C#, Python, or TypeScript.
- Automate web and API tests and integrate them into Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
- Perform REST/SOAP API, mobile, web, database, and AI application testing.
- Document test results, defects, reproduction steps, test cases, and testing reports.
- Collaborate with developers and product teams to clarify requirements and ensure test coverage.
- Track defect density, test coverage, automation ROI, and other quality metrics.
- Optimize automation scripts for scalability and maintainability.
- Mentor junior QA engineers and promote testing best practices.
- Use generative AI to create test scenarios, test cases, test scripts, synthetic test data, validation workflows, and UI comparisons.
- Validate the performance and accuracy of AI models and test AI applications, agents, and chatbots.
- Use AI-based testing approaches and tools for predictive defect analysis and QA process improvement.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of experience in QA with strong manual and automation testing experience.
- Proficiency with Playwright automation using C#, Python, or TypeScript.
- Experience with REST/SOAP API testing and tools such as Postman, including API automation.
- Hands-on SQL experience with joins, views, database testing, query writing, and data retrieval through connection strings.
- Experience testing both mobile and web applications.
- Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps for CI/CD and test management.
- Experience with pytest, NUnit, MSTest, Playwright Test, or other testing frameworks.
- Strong Git experience, including branching, check-ins, conflict resolution, and merging.
- Experience developing and debugging scripts with GitHub Copilot or equivalent AI tools.
- Understanding of security testing principles and tools.
- Experience with JSON, jQuery, XML, Node Package Manager, Cucumber, JavaScript, and Gherkin is preferred.
- Experience with cloud services, Power Apps, and Power Automate is preferred.
- Experience with JMeter, Azure Load Test, or Artillery is preferred.
- Knowledge of generative AI, prompt creation, AI model validation, AI application testing, and tools such as DeepEval, RAGAS, and PromptFoo is preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, collaboration, analytical thinking, independence, and commitment to continuous learning are required.
