Responsibilities
- Design and maintain scalable, reusable platform architecture with a focus on schema design, data modeling, query performance, and UX/UI practices.
- Implement enterprise integrations through hands-on design, coding, SQL views, stored procedures, and REST/SOAP web services and APIs.
- Diagnose performance bottlenecks involving memory, CPU, network latency, and the web application stack.
- Analyze database execution plans, system logs, and Locust load-test outputs to identify and resolve root causes.
- Apply automated testing, clean coding standards, and DevSecOps practices in continuous integration and delivery workflows.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or Mathematics.
- At least 8 years of progressive IT experience, including at least 5 years of specialized enterprise web application development, delivery, and deployment experience.
- Hands-on experience developing, configuring, testing, and deploying enterprise-grade software in an agile delivery environment.
- Deep expertise in Python and SQL, with working knowledge of JavaScript or Java.
- Experience designing relational data models, custom APIs, and middleware or ESB orchestration layers using SQL Server, Oracle, or MariaDB.
- Practical experience with web application infrastructure, Kubernetes containerization, DevSecOps concepts, Selenium, and performance or load testing.
- Preferred qualifications include experience in cross-functional engineering teams, generative AI or LLM application pipelines, vector databases, Salesforce, or ServiceNow.
