Responsibilities
- Engage with customers post-sales to understand their business processes and technical needs.
- Design, develop, and implement custom software solutions using the Appian low-code platform.
- Build applications that support clients' digital transformation and competitive differentiation.
- Develop integrations using APIs, JDBC connections, and web services.
- Work in a fast-paced software implementation environment.
- Mentor consultants through software implementations.
- Communicate with clients and help identify and solve the right business problems.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of overall IT experience.
- At least 5 years of hands-on Appian technical experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Experience building products using agile methodologies and practices such as pair programming, stand-ups, planning sessions, and sprints.
- Basic understanding of object-oriented programming, relational databases, database design, data modeling, and SQL.
- Knowledge of software testing practices, test-driven development, automated test suites, and continuous integration frameworks.
- Experience with integrations using REST and SOAP APIs, JDBC connections, and web services.
- Appian Senior Developer Certification is preferred.
- Familiarity with Amazon Web Services, artificial intelligence, analytics, machine learning, Google Cloud, application integration, plugin development, developer tools, management and governance, and elastic containers is preferred.
