Responsibilities
- Design and evolve the backend and frontend architecture behind BlinkRx and related systems.
- Resolve ambiguous, high-risk technical problems and make architecture decisions across teams and products.
- Run design and code reviews and maintain a high technical quality bar.
- Own major features from initial design through testing, documentation, monitoring, and launch.
- Partner directly with founders and executives to shape strategy and implement it technically.
- Coach engineers, mentor senior engineers, and help shape team practices.
- Prototype new tools and techniques, including AI coding tools, and use data to guide decisions.
- Communicate technical trade-offs clearly to technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience writing software with increasing scope and impact.
- Hands-on experience with AI coding tools and a record of helping teams adopt them effectively.
- Experience serving as technical lead for a system or product area used by several teams, from initial ambiguity through launch and scale.
- Experience working directly with founders or executives.
- Deep skills in a modern programming language such as Python, JavaScript, or Go.
- Strong background in distributed systems, API design, and performance optimization.
- Experience raising technical standards and mentoring senior engineers.
- Clear communication skills and credibility with business and product leaders.
- A CS degree or equivalent experience.
