Base Salary
$45k - $110k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and Python scripts.
- Build and execute functional, integration, regression, smoke, and other test suites using pytest or similar frameworks.
- Integrate AI and LLM-based tools for test-case generation, log analysis, defect triage, and code review.
- Collaborate with automotive domain teams to understand requirements for ADAS, infotainment, telematics, EV/HEV, and related systems.
- Analyze test results, identify failure root causes, and work with engineering and laboratory teams to resolve defects.
- Perform manual and automated testing of vehicle features, ECU architectures, and conventional, EV, and hybrid powertrain systems.
- Develop automation scripts and conduct testing in dSPACE HIL environments using ECU test tools.
- Maintain test documentation, coverage reports, and traceability matrices.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of professional experience in Python development and test automation.
- Experience with automotive infotainment, ADAS, telematics, EV/HEV systems, and vehicle networks including CAN, LIN, and Ethernet.
- Practical experience using AI tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT/LLMs, AI-based test generation, or log-analysis tools.
- Strong understanding of functional, regression, smoke, and integration testing methodologies.
- Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of conventional, electric, and hybrid vehicle architectures, powertrain systems, and corresponding ECUs.
- Experience with dSPACE HIL environments and automation script development using ECU test tools.
- Experience or familiarity with CAN, LIN, UDS, DoIP, Ethernet/SOME-IP, PyCharm, JIRA, TestRail, Confluence/Wiki, and CAN simulation tools is preferred.
- Experience with Selenium/WebDriver or Appium, automotive IVI or cluster testing, and automation projects is a plus.
