Base Salary
$80k - $150k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain application and data integrations connecting NOS to internal systems, partner APIs, and external data sources.
- Own scoped CI/CD and release tasks that keep NOS builds repeatable, tested, and traceable.
- Build and fix backend services, write tests, and perform routine platform monitoring and maintenance.
- Learn and contribute to Palantir Foundry, the data ontology, and MCP interfaces for AI agents working with NOS data.
- Collaborate with platform, data science, AI/ML, and product engineers while progressing from paired work to independent delivery.
Requirements
- Computer science degree or equivalent and 0–2 years of professional experience, with internships, co-ops, and project work counting.
- Strong fundamentals in at least one backend language, preferably Python or TypeScript; Go or Java are also accepted.
- Hands-on exposure to backend work and basic DevOps concepts such as CI/CD, version control, REST APIs, or system integration.
- Experience building something with AI beyond using a chat assistant, such as multi-step prompts, custom tools, AI in a codebase, or a small agentic project.
- Strong written and verbal communication and willingness to learn the nuclear and regulated-industry context.
- Preferred qualifications include exposure to AWS or another major cloud, infrastructure as code or configuration management, LLMs, agentic systems, data modeling, Palantir Foundry, Databricks, Snowflake, or regulated and mega-project industries.
