Base Salary
$144k - $194k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build, own, and operate automated platforms and solutions for AWS deployments in dedicated regions.
- Provide automation and scripting support and automate operational tasks.
- Investigate customer issues, analyze incorrect metric trends, and identify root causes.
- Design reliable and scalable systems and collaborate closely with AWS service teams.
- Contribute to deployment engineering initiatives with visibility across AWS leadership.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or CSSLP certification.
- At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 2 years of experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- At least 3 years of full-stack development experience.
- At least 2 years of Linux operating systems experience.
- Preferred: bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
- Preferred: at least 3 years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: experience with modern software development, web development frameworks, and APIs.
- Preferred: at least 4 years of distributed systems experience.
- Must obtain and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph.
