Base Salary
$100k - $110k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain web applications and APIs using .NET Core and Microsoft technologies
- Collaborate with front-end developers, DevOps, and product managers on scalable software solutions
- Write clean, maintainable, efficient code and follow coding standards
- Implement and optimize SQL Server, MySQL, and other databases
- Integrate third-party services and APIs into .NET Core applications
- Perform code reviews and debugging to maintain application quality and performance
- Contribute to architectural discussions and technical decisions
- Participate in Agile sprints, daily stand-ups, and iterative development
- Implement encryption, authentication, and authorization best practices
- Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize application code and infrastructure
- Stay current with .NET Core, cloud services, and software engineering practices
Requirements
- 8+ years of .NET development experience
- Experience developing web applications with .NET Core and the .NET Framework
- Strong proficiency in C# and ASP.NET Core
- Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs with .NET Core
- Proficiency with SQL databases, including SQL Server and MySQL, and complex query optimization
- Familiarity with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Angular, or React
- Understanding of object-oriented programming, SOLID principles, and design patterns
- Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines
- Familiarity with Docker and containerization technologies
- Experience deploying and managing .NET Core applications in Azure or AWS
- Knowledge of web security practices including authentication, authorization, and data encryption
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Applications, or a related field
- Preferred experience with MongoDB or Redis
- Preferred familiarity with microservices architecture, distributed systems, cloud-native development, and serverless architecture
- Preferred experience with xUnit, NUnit, automated testing, and test-driven development
- Preferred familiarity with infrastructure as code, CI/CD automation, and Blazor
