Responsibilities
- Build and integrate ROS/ROS2 modules supporting robotic navigation, manipulation, simulation, and data collection.
- Replicate and integrate mobile and web UI environments into robotic testing and data collection systems.
- Build and maintain training and test datasets collected through robotic manipulators and iOS and Android applications.
- Query and analyze internal database data to create features, identify trends, and generate product and model-development insights.
- Develop tools and processes for monitoring data quality, model performance, and model accuracy in production.
- Implement end-to-end machine learning workflows including data preparation, model training, testing, evaluation, and deployment support.
- Write clean, modular, and documented C++ and Python code.
- Collaborate with machine learning, engineering, product, and research teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, Machine Learning, or a related technical field.
- 1–2 years of relevant industry, internship, or research experience in machine learning, robotics, computer vision, or related technical areas.
- Hands-on ROS or ROS2 experience, including building or integrating modules for navigation, manipulation, simulation, or data collection.
- Experience implementing machine learning models in Python with frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or scikit-learn.
- Experience with databases, queries, and data pipelines for training, testing, or evaluation.
- Strong Python and C++ programming skills with an emphasis on clean, reliable, documented code.
- Ability to work with physical hardware, debug system behavior, and translate research or prototype work into scalable engineering solutions.
- Preferred experience includes robotic manipulators, mobile robots, lab-based robotic systems, iOS or Android development, computer-vision data collection, production ML observability, model monitoring, drift detection, data-quality monitoring, and AWS ML services.
