Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Define, implement, validate, and release software for the high-voltage supervisory control system.
- Develop control strategies for electric vehicles, including eDrive, charging, and other high-voltage components.
- Support high-voltage Powernet and charging-system development and optimize communication between devices and ECUs.
- Support implementation of ePowertrain controller functions through functional decomposition.
- Create and document system requirements, control-system requirements, and validation test plans.
- Coordinate system validation and lead resolution of powertrain ECU interoperability and vehicle-level issues.
- Provide input to functional safety work products and participate in testing, workshops, and production-project timing activities.
- Investigate advanced control strategies and methods for improving electrified powertrain efficiency and vehicle capabilities.
- Coordinate technical design solutions with cross-functional and international teams and stay current on electric-vehicle technology.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- 2–4 years of relevant industry experience.
- Extensive experience developing model-based software with MATLAB/Simulink for automotive or heavy-duty vehicles.
- Experience creating control-system requirements and test plans and developing diagnostic strategies.
- Experience with vehicle networks, CAN, communication protocols, and automotive software development.
- Experience with DFMEA and ISO 26262 functional-safety analysis for automotive electronics products.
- Ability to lead cross-functional international teams, translate business needs into technical requirements, and manage detailed work in changing environments.
- Preferred experience with electric powertrain or mechatronic systems, OpenECU, Pi Innovo, MATLAB/Simulink, Jira, automotive charging protocols, and high-voltage powertrain controls.
- Preferred experience leading or mentoring other engineers; fluent English is required and additional languages are appreciated.
- Ability to travel at a low to moderate level, approximately 10%.

- Starting base salary range of $86,000–$110,000 USD.
