Responsibilities
- Investigate and triage production issues with app partners and internal teams.
- Build dashboards, alerting systems, and tools for production support.
- Manage testing and rollout of technical changes and API updates.
- Perform business acceptance testing for new features in sample applications.
- Create localized sample applications demonstrating API usage.
- Act as a subject matter expert for ads platform features.
- Evaluate ads to ensure compliance with Roku certification requirements.
Requirements
- Expertise in Roku Pay or similar payment systems.
- Experience in production issue triage and support in streaming TV.
- Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with partners.
- 3+ years of experience in production support, UAT, and sample app development using JavaScript.
- Understanding of web games and chromium development.
- Familiarity with video streaming technologies like DASH and HLS.
- Knowledge of embedded systems and consumer electronics.
- Comfortable working in a Linux environment.
- Experience with analytics and data tools such as Tableau and Looker.
- Engineering degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
