Responsibilities
- Analyze software designs, implementations, infrastructure, and cloud deployments to identify security issues and design countermeasures.
- Conduct security-focused code reviews of new and legacy applications and services.
- Engineer automated security controls and reusable libraries that make secure development easier.
- Lead security architecture assessments and threat modeling for new applications and cloud services.
- Own vulnerability management, including triaging bug bounty submissions and driving remediation with engineering teams.
- Propose and drive viable solutions to security problems.
- Scale and enhance SSDLC and bug bounty programs for a growing engineering organization.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience in information security.
- Deep understanding of web and API security principles, including the OWASP Top 10, and experience securing distributed systems.
- Strong understanding of network and application security, cryptographic primitives, and authentication mechanisms.
- Extensive experience securing AWS architectures and developing secure infrastructure-as-code.
- Proficiency in code review and development using languages such as Go, JavaScript, and Python.
- Expertise leading threat modeling sessions and providing actionable guidance to engineering teams.
- Experience integrating and automating security measures into development and CI/CD processes.
- Strong analytical, communication, teamwork, ownership, and problem-solving skills.
- Preferred qualifications include an MSc in Information Security or a related field, mobile application security experience, relevant security certifications, PCI-DSS experience, and familiarity with Zero Trust Architecture.
