Responsibilities
- Lead deployment, implementation, commissioning, and continuous improvement projects for Wabtec’s Trip Optimizer solution across customer accounts.
- Analyze Trip Optimizer performance across customer fleets and identify improvements to availability, utilization, fuel efficiency, train handling, and cycle time.
- Coordinate customers, field service teams, contractors, subcontractors, software engineers, project managers, and global engineering resources.
- Translate customer requirements into project plans and manage execution against milestones, quality standards, and critical-to-quality objectives.
- Coordinate the definition, development, testing, validation, and deployment of product enhancements and system improvements.
- Create and execute test plans, training programs, deployment procedures, and technical documentation.
- Act as the primary customer contact, provide project updates, manage technical issues, and drive resolution with internal and external stakeholders.
- Support customer adoption, long-term operational success, additional solution opportunities, and continuous improvement through technical expertise and data analytics.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- Extensive experience in engineering, technical project execution, software deployment, or related disciplines.
- Experience managing complex technical projects involving multiple stakeholders.
- Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 15%.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Portuguese.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, leadership, and customer engagement capabilities.
- Preferred experience in the railroad industry and knowledge of locomotive systems and railroad operating practices.
- Experience with data analytics and performance optimization.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
- Knowledge of MATLAB is preferred.
