Responsibilities

  • Identify, assess, and prioritize security risks across systems, products, and infrastructure
  • Design and implement security controls across cloud platforms, applications, products, and data
  • Develop and apply threat models to identify architectural risks, trust-boundary issues, and failure modes
  • Advise engineering, product, and operational teams through security patterns, guidance, and guardrails
  • Contribute to security incident detection, investigation, and containment and drive systemic improvements
  • Build automation and improve tooling to reduce manual security work and embed secure-by-default practices
  • Provide technical depth for audits, certifications, and customer security reviews

Requirements

  • Deep hands-on expertise in one or two security domains such as application security, cloud security, identity and access management, cryptography, detection and response, or platform security
  • Ability to assess trust boundaries, failure modes, blast radius, and adversarial behavior
  • Ability to communicate complex security risks to engineers, product managers, and senior leadership and influence outcomes without relying on authority
  • Risk-based decision-making and sound judgment under uncertainty
  • Experience working across multiple teams and technical domains
  • Track record of identifying security gaps and driving improvements through resolution
  • Preferred experience in regulated, high-assurance, defence-adjacent, or other environments with significant security consequences
  • Preferred hands-on offensive security experience, including red teaming, penetration testing, or adversarial simulation
  • Preferred familiarity with AI/ML security, including model integrity, data pipeline security, or adversarial ML
  • Preferred experience designing security programs at scale, including security champion networks, secure development lifecycle tooling, or organization-wide risk frameworks
  • Preferred cloud-native security engineering experience across AWS, GCP, or Azure, including infrastructure-as-code, container security, and cloud identity patterns
  • Preferred exposure to supply-chain security, dependency management, build pipeline integrity, or third-party component assurance
  • Preferred experience with classified data, government security frameworks, or cross-domain security requirements
