Responsibilities
- Lead or contribute to the technical architecture, roadmap, and evolution of PeopleSoft Campus Solutions, Contributor Relations, and custom modules.
- Design, develop, maintain, and optimize PeopleSoft customizations using PeopleCode, Application Engine, Component Interfaces, Integration Broker, SQR, SQL, and the Fluid Framework.
- Review technical designs and code, define development standards, address technical debt, and maintain documentation.
- Design and maintain REST and SOAP APIs and web services, using Postman for testing and validation.
- Own integrations with Microsoft Entra ID, the alumni CRM platform, the payment gateway, and faculty-related systems.
- Manage source code in GitHub for developments outside the PeopleTools Application Designer repository.
- Translate business requirements into scalable PeopleSoft solutions and identify process-improvement opportunities.
- Partner on infrastructure upgrades, PeopleTools and PUM updates, environment management, vendor coordination, production support, incident resolution, and root-cause analysis.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Significant PeopleSoft development experience as a Senior Developer, Technical Lead, or Technical Architect.
- Strong hands-on experience with PeopleSoft Campus Solutions.
- Expertise with PeopleCode, Application Engine, Component Interfaces, Integration Broker, SQR, and SQL.
- Experience designing and integrating REST/SOAP web services with enterprise systems.
- At least five years of experience with Oracle Database.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Preferred: PeopleSoft Contributor Relations, higher education, PeopleSoft Fluid Framework, Microsoft Entra ID or Azure AD integrations, and Git-based source control with GitHub.
- Preferred certifications include Oracle PeopleSoft PeopleTools Certification, Oracle Campus Solutions Certification, Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900), and optional Oracle Cloud Infrastructure certification.
