Base Salary

$144k - $194k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and operate secure, available, performant, and durable distributed systems.
  • Make technical and architectural decisions while balancing competing priorities and system constraints.
  • Implement maintainable software and make appropriate trade-offs regarding dependencies, reuse, and complexity.
  • Create automation that improves system reliability and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with dependent teams to enhance system capabilities and resolve technical challenges.
  • Investigate anomalies to determine root causes and deliver robust solutions.
  • Drive operational excellence while considering maintainability and operational costs.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
  • 2+ years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Preferred: 3+ years covering the full software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
  • Preferred: knowledge of computer architecture, operating systems, and parallel computing.
  • Preferred: master's degree or equivalent.
