Responsibilities
- Create test cases, scenarios, and scripts from user stories and feature descriptions using JIRA boards and test management tools.
- Execute manual, automated, regression, ad hoc, and bug-verification test cases.
- Debug automated test scripts and analyze results to identify anomalous behavior.
- Report and track defects, verify fixes, and perform follow-up work to resolve issues.
- Test communication protocols including CAN, MODBUS, serial port, and RS-232/485.
- Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, backlog meetings, and retrospectives.
- Identify quality assurance process bottlenecks and recommend improvements.
- Collaborate with engineering, product development, and product owners to deliver quality software and product applications.
Requirements
- 1–5 years of experience in software testing.
- Proficiency in UI, API, and functional automation testing.
- Experience in an Agile/Scrum environment and embedded testing.
- Experience with Python or another programming language.
- Strong written and oral communication, interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- HVAC product knowledge is an added advantage.
- Candidates without a four-year degree are encouraged to apply based on practical experience, relevant skills, and alignment with leadership principles.
