Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Node.js-based web applications.
- Build front-end solutions using Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, and browser developer tools.
- Develop complete features from concept through deployment in autonomous, cross-functional teams.
- Analyze business requirements and system development specifications.
- Participate in problem solving, troubleshooting, performance tuning, production support, and application maintenance.
- Complete code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing.
- Create and maintain documentation for applications and subsystems.
- Coordinate delivery of technical components across internal and external technical teams.
- Contribute to iteration planning and process-improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Science, Mathematics, Physics, or equivalent experience.
- Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals, including data structures and algorithms.
- Knowledge of HTTP-based APIs, networking, and how the internet works.
- Hands-on experience with Node.js, NPM, and Express package management and development.
- Strong version control, branching strategy, and Git skills.
- Experience with Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, and RESTful APIs.
- Experience automating development, testing, and deployment processes.
- Knowledge of Webpack, Grunt, Gulp, Groovy, Jenkins, or Concourse is preferred.
- Exposure to native iOS or Android development is a bonus.
