Responsibilities
- Design and build customized software integrations connecting third-party systems with SKIDATA products.
- Support global integration projects, public interfaces, and third-party partners connecting to SKIDATA systems.
- Write high-quality code and contribute to the performance of the Global Customized Solutions team.
- Support regional and subsidiary developers with coding standards, architecture guidelines, reusable frameworks, and modern engineering practices.
- Collaborate with architects, development teams, and global technical support in a distributed international environment.
Requirements
- University degree in Computer Science or equivalent qualification.
- Strong experience with SOAP, REST, gRPC, RMQ, .NET, and sockets.
- Strong experience with C#/.NET, .NET 8 or later, and ASP.NET Core.
- Experience with Java, JEE, Spring Boot, Hibernate, relational databases, and NoSQL databases.
- Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, Angular, and React.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, API management, API design, and API gateways.
- Understanding of secure coding practices and software supply-chain security.
- Experience working effectively in globally distributed teams with strong remote collaboration and documentation habits.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot.
- Fluent written and spoken English; German or another regional language is a plus.
- Self-organized, analytical, collaborative team-player mindset.
