Base Salary
$55k - $126k/yr
Responsibilities
- Conduct internal R&D in AI, autonomous systems, edge systems, modeling and simulation, or immersive graphics.
- Research technical problems and write software to develop breakthrough solutions.
- Produce technical documentation and create design artifacts.
- Work independently and collaboratively with mentorship from senior leaders.
- Apply Booz Allen products and engagement models to complex client problems.
Requirements
- Experience with one or more programming languages including Python, Java, C, C++, JavaScript, Assembly, Perl, R, or Bash.
- Experience with object-oriented programming.
- Experience in AI/ML, autonomous systems, edge systems, modeling and simulation, or AR/VR graphics immersion.
- Experience conducting research and writing software.
- Ability to produce technical documentation and design artifacts.
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
- Scheduled to obtain a master’s degree in a STEM field by Summer 2027.
- Preferred experience includes agentic AI with MCP, A2A, and AWS Bedrock AgentCore; generative AI with LLMs and RAG; robotics and autonomous systems; reinforcement learning; ROS; computer vision; networking; sensors; world models; GPUs; Arduinos; Raspberry Pis; Unity; Unreal Engine; Blender; Maya; and NVIDIA Omniverse.
- Preferred qualifications include strong critical-thinking, analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
