Responsibilities
- Understand client requirements and convert them into feasible software designs.
- Develop, modify, debug, and maintain software programs and modules.
- Perform root-cause analysis and troubleshoot system issues and software defects.
- Automate software validation by designing and executing test cases, scenarios, and usage cases.
- Support continuous integration, deployment, monitoring, system installation, and performance improvements.
- Prepare code, technical documentation, reports, flowcharts, diagrams, and project status updates.
- Coordinate with project managers, functional teams, engineering staff, customers, and stakeholders.
- Capture client requirements and feedback to support quality work and on-time delivery.
- Maintain customer-focused communication and respond promptly to customer requests.
- Participate in training and continuing education to learn programming languages and current practices.
Requirements
- Experience or capability in software analysis, design, coding, testing, debugging, and maintenance as described in the role responsibilities.
- Ability to analyze requirements, system flows, data usage, work processes, and software performance.
- Ability to create test cases, automate validation processes, investigate failures, and ensure code quality.
- Ability to document technical solutions and prepare accurate project, MIS, and status reports.
- Ability to collaborate with customers, project managers, functional teams, systems analysts, and engineering staff.
- Willingness to complete training and certifications for skill development.
