Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain Red Hat OpenShift environments across cloud and vSphere data center environments and multiple security domains.
- Deploy OpenShift to new sites as they become operational.
- Support OpenShift operators and frameworks including Crossplane, Kyverno, and Red Hat GitOps.
- Work with internal and external teams to understand integration requirements and scale platforms accordingly.
- Collaborate with security teams to maintain compliance and develop secure solutions.
- Support RabbitMQ, Redis, PostgreSQL, and Elastic Stack data services.
- Compile detailed technical documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer programming, science, engineering, or a related technical discipline, with additional education, training, certifications, or work experience permitted as a substitute.
- 5–8 years of developer experience.
- TS/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain a CI Poly.
- 8140.01M IAT Level II certification.
- Experience deploying and managing Red Hat OpenShift in cloud and/or vSphere environments is desired.
- Experience with Amazon Web Services, Python, Shell scripting, Git, RHEL/RHCOS, CentOS, GitLab CI, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, and the broader Cloud Native Computing Foundation ecosystem is desired.
