Responsibilities
- Analyze business needs and collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, constraints, and development priorities.
- Participate in system architecture planning, technical design reviews, solution evaluation, and software development.
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance internal software applications and systems.
- Integrate new systems and technologies into development and manufacturing environments.
- Provide technical support, perform root-cause analysis, and resolve software and system issues.
- Coordinate with stakeholders and project teams to meet quality, schedule, and business requirements.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, development specifications, and user and operational guides.
- Improve system performance, usability, maintainability, and development efficiency.
- Use AI-assisted development tools for coding, testing, debugging, refactoring, and documentation where appropriate.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- At least 2 years of software development experience.
- Experience with requirements analysis, software design, coding standards, and test case and test plan development.
- Proficiency in object-oriented programming with C# or Java.
- Experience with database design, optimization, maintenance, and SQL.
- Experience developing web applications using backend or frontend frameworks such as MVC, Vue.js, Angular, or similar technologies.
- Familiarity with Git and SVN.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, documentation, and task-management skills.
- Professional ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
- Preferred experience includes manufacturing systems such as MES, EAS/EAP, MCS, WCS, WMS, ECS, AGV Dispatch, dashboards, and Kanban.
- Preferred qualifications include Kanban interface and report development, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5, CSS3, PLC/OPC interaction logic, low-level communication, multithreading, delegates, Socket communication, MQ, Tibco, SECS, and class library development.
- Preferred experience includes evaluating and integrating AI-generated code and using AI-assisted programming tools.
