Base Salary
$224k - $335k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop software solutions for cloud AI inference acceleration and LLM serving.
- Plan, manage, and deliver large commercial software projects.
- Work across early research and development through commercial deployment.
- Use serving frameworks such as vLLM and develop machine learning software with PyTorch.
- Execute, analyze, and optimize neural networks, including multimodal and reasoning models.
- Write high-performance software for multicore systems.
- Analyze performance of software and hardware solutions across multicore and SoC architectures.
- Perform performance modeling of SoC architectures and investigate bottlenecks.
- Collaborate cross-functionally throughout the product lifecycle.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field plus 8+ years of related experience; alternatively, a master's degree plus 7+ years or a PhD plus 6+ years.
- Commercial software development experience spanning design, compiler technology, performance modeling, and bottleneck analysis.
- Experience with serving frameworks such as vLLM.
- Strong PyTorch development skills and experience with C++ and Python.
- Strong understanding of LLMs, multimodal models, and reasoning models.
- Experience executing, analyzing, and optimizing neural networks.
- Experience writing high-performance software for multicore systems.
- Understanding of multicore processor and SoC architectures, including cores, caches, memories, buses, PCIe, and NoCs.
- Experience with machine learning accelerators and related software is highly desired.
- Knowledge of neural network operators, linear algebra, mathematical operations, and math libraries is desirable.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to work as a team player.
- Master's-level study in Computer Engineering, Computer Networks and Systems, or Computer Science is additionally listed as ideal.
