Responsibilities
- Design and deliver open source software operations code in Python.
- Work across the entire Linux stack, including kernel, networking, and storage.
- Ensure application and infrastructure reliability.
- Develop high-quality open source monitoring and alerting infrastructure.
- Simplify open source operations for customers and the community.
- Demonstrate sound engineering design and testing principles.
- Follow agile software development practices.
- Coach and develop colleagues.
- Foster a collaborative engineering culture.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, STEM, or a similar field.
- Experience with Linux systems administration and operations.
- Hands-on experience with at least one public cloud.
- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong Python programming skills.
- Understanding of reliable software design principles.
- Organized and committed to delivering high-quality software.
