Responsibilities
- Analyze solutions and help set requirements for new 5G User Plane software features.
- Develop, test, and deploy functionality for open-platform, real-time, and highly available systems.
- Participate in the full software feature lifecycle through live-network deployment.
- Investigate and debug complex issues, including performance tuning and core dump analysis.
- Support customer teams after deployment.
- Collaborate with multinational teams in Spain, Sweden, and China.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, telecommunication engineering, or a related field.
- Required programming experience in C and at least one scripting language such as Python or Shell/Bash on UNIX/Linux.
- Willingness to develop or existing proficiency in open-platform, real-time, and highly available systems and scripting.
- Knowledge of cloud-native software stacks, execution environments, and containers such as Docker.
- Ability to investigate and debug complex issues, including performance tuning and core dump analysis.
- Knowledge of operating system architectures and scalable system design is valued.
- Knowledge of TCP/IP networking, QUIC, data networks, IP-based applications, routing, and signaling is valued.
- Knowledge of Linux use and network administration, network equipment configuration, and 4G/5G mobile network architecture is valued.
- C++ and/or Golang knowledge is an advantage.
- Good written and spoken English and confidence working in international environments.
