Base Salary

$119k - $203k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Translate enterprise architecture principles, standards, and guardrails into reusable solution architectures and implementation patterns.
  • Develop solution designs, architecture decision records, reference architectures, interoperability guidance, and Architecture Review Board packages.
  • Evaluate business and technical use cases and identify integration constraints, dependencies, and risks across applications, platforms, and data environments.
  • Ensure solutions align with approved data, identity, networking, security, hosting, compliance, and enterprise architecture patterns.
  • Support modernization roadmaps, migration readiness assessments, technology adoption planning, cloud architecture, API strategies, and integration patterns.
  • Partner with Platform Engineering, Security, Compliance, and Data teams to support technical alignment and successful delivery.
  • Facilitate technical decision-making, resolve architectural conflicts, and contribute to architecture standards, governance processes, and best practices.
  • Present architecture recommendations and technical strategies to executives, governance boards, engineering teams, and customer stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Enterprise Architecture, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent additional experience in lieu of a degree.
  • At least 8 years of experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale solution architectures.
  • U.S. citizenship, U.S. residency, U.S. work authorization, and residence in the United States for three full years out of the last five years.
  • Preferred certifications include AWS Solutions Architect, Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert, TOGAF, or comparable architecture credentials.
  • Preferred experience architecting cloud-native data, analytics, and AI platforms in Microsoft Azure and hybrid or multi-cloud environments.
  • Preferred experience with Databricks Lakehouse architectures, Delta Lake, SQL, Python, Unity Catalog, data governance, metadata management, and data sharing.
  • Preferred experience with enterprise data warehouse modernization, cloud migration, secure data ingestion, APIs, batch processing, event-driven architectures, real-time streaming, and data virtualization.
  • Preferred experience with Azure Data Factory, Databricks Workspaces, Azure Synapse, Power BI, Azure Machine Learning, Databricks ML, MLflow, NLP frameworks, and MLOps capabilities.
  • Preferred experience with Terraform, GitHub, Azure DevOps, CI/CD automation, deployment pipelines, enterprise data governance, cataloging, lineage, and access control.
  • Preferred experience with Immuta, Collibra, Unity Catalog, Purview, Zero Trust, Single Sign-On, NIST 800-53, FIPS-compliant security requirements, Azure Government, AWS GovCloud, and hybrid on-premises environments.
  • Ability to evaluate tradeoffs involving scalability, interoperability, governance, security, performance, cost optimization, and operational support.
  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking, communication, organizational, problem-solving, and stakeholder-influence skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities in complex delivery environments.
  • Federal government program, enterprise shared-services, and large-scale modernization experience is highly preferred.

  • Remote position within the United States, with support for client meetings and collaboration activities as required.
  • Full-time employment with a stated pay range of $119,323.00 to $202,850.00, contingent upon a contract award.
  • Work must be performed in the United States; foreign locations, foreign IP access, and personal VPN connections are prohibited.
