Responsibilities

Lead development of core platform services for a ground communications and data-transport platform supporting U.S. government satellites.
Design and build scalable backend services and APIs for a multi-tenant platform ecosystem.
Develop secure, automated technology for satellite operations.
Work as an individual contributor while serving as a technical lead for more junior engineers.
Own technical problems end to end and support the operation of a wide variety of U.S. government satellites.

3–5+ years of progressively responsible software engineering experience.
Extensive experience with Python, FastAPI, PostgreSQL, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
Experience architecting and building APIs, backend services, and multi-tenant services on a public cloud platform.
In-depth knowledge of at least one commercial cloud platform and its associated services.
Experience developing with an emphasis on automation and security.
Ability to own technical problems end to end, self-direct work, learn new technologies, collaborate effectively, and communicate clearly.
Eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance.
Must satisfy applicable U.S. government export-control eligibility or authorization requirements.
Prior experience in space, satellite communications, or ground systems is preferred.
