Responsibilities
- Develop robust and maintainable software using software development practices and standards.
- Participate actively in all phases of the software development lifecycle.
- Guide non-technical teams and consultants on robust software development practices.
- Optimize algorithms and software designs for computational efficiency.
- Collaborate directly with clients on new features and future product releases.
- Partner with clients across industries to design, build, and deploy AI solutions.
- Develop and deliver scientific thought leadership, papers, and conference presentations on behalf of BCG X.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science or a relevant field.
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience or advanced personal project experience leveraging the latest AI toolchain.
- Experience with software development and global, remote squads.
- Proficiency in Python, C++, or Scala for analytic software programming.
- Familiarity with relational, non-relational, and streaming data structures and with parallel computing.
- Experience with cloud platforms, full-stack development, DevOps technologies, and data technologies listed in the posting.
- Familiarity with data science and machine learning libraries such as Pandas and scikit-learn.
- Fluency in English and either Mandarin or Cantonese.
- Ability to collaborate with clients, consultants, data scientists, AI engineers, vendors, and third-party partners.
