Senior Software Engineer - Forge Factory Automation

Responsibilities
- Develop and improve Forge, an internal platform integrating systems and data for efficient production-line operations.
- Create SaaS solutions that integrate effectively with on-premise systems.
- Write high-quality code to improve platform performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide technical support to Forge users and troubleshoot issues.
- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and cross-functional teams to deliver business-critical projects.
- Apply deep expertise across part of the full stack, such as backend, frontend, or integrations.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a software engineering role building products.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent technical degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with large enterprise applications and platforms with high-availability requirements.
- Proficiency with JavaScript, React, TypeScript, and web frameworks such as Remix or Next.js.
- Ability to translate end-user needs into features while balancing user experience and engineering constraints.
- U.S. Person status is required to access export-controlled data.
- Eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. TS clearance.
- Willingness to work on-site on a rotation for second shift, approximately 3 p.m. to 11 p.m.
- Familiarity with AWS, eventing systems, and large data streaming for test automation is preferred.
- Experience scaling and maturing software development processes in hyper-growth or startup-like environments is preferred.
- Background in scaled manufacturing environments and experience with supply chain, manufacturing, or related enterprise software are preferred.
