Responsibilities
- Design and develop enterprise mobile applications with SAP Mobile Development Kit and SAP BTP Mobile Services for Android and iOS.
- Develop ABAP, ABAP OO, CDS Views, and RAP-based OData services using reusable frameworks and components.
- Build cloud-native backend services with SAP CAP, Node.js, Java, SAP HANA Cloud, and SAP Integration Suite.
- Integrate mobile and frontend applications with SAP S/4HANA, SAP Gateway, SAP CAP, and other backend systems.
- Create metadata-driven mobile components and implement offline and online data synchronization through OData services.
- Design, develop, customize, deploy, and troubleshoot SAP Fiori and SAPUI5 applications on SAP BTP and Fiori Launchpad.
- Collaborate with architects, UX designers, AI teams, functional teams, business teams, product owners, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Implement authentication with SAP Identity Services, OAuth, and XSUAA.
- Perform unit, integration, and performance testing; monitor performance, analytics, logs, AI accuracy, and model drift.
- Provide technical leadership, architecture ownership, mentoring, documentation, and compliance with enterprise and mobile security standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a related field.
- 7–12 years of experience, including at least 3 years with SAP MDK and SAP BTP.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, MDK rules, actions and metadata, BAS, Mobile SDK, Mocha, Appium, and development pipelines.
- Proficiency with Android using Kotlin or Java and iOS using Swift or Objective-C, including Xcode.
- Experience with SAP BTP Mobile Services, ABAP and ABAP OO, SAP Fiori, SAPUI5, OData, REST APIs, SAP Gateway, CAP, HANA Cloud, and Integration Suite.
- Exposure to NativeScript, Angular, Flutter, React Native, UI5, AI/ML, LLM integration, and SAP AI APIs.
- Experience with Git, CI/CD, Mobile DevOps, and SAP S/4HANA or ECC flows.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, technical leadership, mentoring, architecture ownership, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work with product owners and architects on scalable mobile and AI architectures in an Agile/Scrum environment.
