Base Salary
$87k - $157k/yr
Responsibilities
- Integrate security practices, controls, and automated security tools into DevOps pipelines and CI/CD workflows for DoD applications.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, threat modeling, and remediation of security issues.
- Configure and manage static, dynamic, and infrastructure-as-code security tools.
- Collaborate with software development and operations teams on secure coding practices and security controls.
- Provision and manage cloud, container, and infrastructure-as-code resources.
- Participate in incident response, monitor security alerts, and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
- Mentor junior team members and provide guidance on DevSecOps practices and tools.
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship and an active Top Secret clearance, with the ability to obtain and maintain SCI before starting.
- Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of experience or a master’s degree with 2+ years of experience; additional experience may substitute for a degree.
- Three to five years of professional software development support or performance experience.
- Experience with software development practices, version control, CI/CD, and tools such as Jira or GitLab.
- Strong experience with Linux, Windows, network administration, and networking protocols including HTTP, HTTPS, SSL/TLS, SMTP, and DNS.
- Experience managing IaaS or cloud resources using Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and automated provisioning or configuration tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, Chef, Puppet, or Ansible.
- Preferred experience with Air Force Life Cycle Management Center programs, DevSecOps security tools, SAST, DAST, IAST, OWASP, NIST, and DoD regulations.
- Preferred DoD 8570 IAM Level II or higher, DoD 8140 Advanced, or intermediate cloud certification.
- Preferred experience with Keycloak, Helm, and configuration management; 1–2 years of configuration management experience and 3–5 years of DevSecOps experience are also preferred.
