Responsibilities
- Lead analysis and creation of comprehensive test cases for web applications, websites, APIs, and supporting infrastructure.
- Perform manual testing and develop and maintain automated test suites and scripts.
- Partner with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Development teams to verify business and technical requirements.
- Assess application readiness for releases, migrations, and deployments.
- Develop test plans, test scenarios, test scripts, and testing procedures.
- Provide usability, functionality, and quality feedback throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Support prioritization, estimation, and acceptance-criteria discussions during planning.
- Investigate defects, assess business impact, and help drive resolution efforts.
- Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance on testing best practices.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that improve product quality and team efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- At least 3 years of experience in software quality assurance within a collaborative development environment.
- At least 3 years of experience developing and maintaining automated test solutions using Selenium WebDriver or similar tools.
- At least 3 years of experience testing RESTful APIs and web services.
- Experience creating test plans, executing test cases, and reporting quality outcomes.
- Knowledge of SQL, XML, JSON, and scripting languages.
- Familiarity with Python, Java, C#, or .NET development environments.
- Experience testing non-GUI applications, including databases, flat files, and integration services.
- Familiarity with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery environments.
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, and Zephyr.
- Understanding of Agile Scrum methodologies and exposure to AI-enabled technologies.
- Preferred: at least 2 years of experience with performance testing tools such as Apache JMeter.
- Preferred: experience supporting enterprise-scale software platforms and working in data-driven or analytics-focused technology environments.
- Strong analytical, communication, adaptability, and issue-prioritization skills.
