Base Salary

$78k - $176k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Develop container management software and support critical cloud platforms.
  • Build and support AWS DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Build container images and orchestrate deployments in Kubernetes.
  • Manage infrastructure-as-code environments, automated configurations, software deployments, monitoring, and testing.
  • Manage tools deployed with Helm and automate environments using Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
  • Develop and support custom applications in production environments.
  • Support container networking, monitoring, storage, and security, including vulnerability evaluation and remediation.
  • Inform platform strategy and design, recommend resources for secure container adoption, and ensure containerization standards are met.
  • Identify and implement automation to improve user experience.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience building and supporting AWS DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines.
  • At least 4 years of experience with containerization, including image building and Kubernetes deployment orchestration.
  • At least 4 years of experience with infrastructure-as-code environments and automated configurations, deployments, monitoring, or testing.
  • At least 3 years of experience managing Helm-deployed tools and using Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
  • Experience developing and supporting custom applications in production.
  • Knowledge of container networking, monitoring, storage, and security technologies.
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Ability to obtain Security+ CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security, or GSEC certification within six months of hire.
  • Preferred experience with Bash, PowerShell, Python, Groovy, or Ruby scripting; JSON, REST, and XML system integration; YAML configuration; automation; and OWASP or DevSecOps maturity models.
  • Preferred bachelor’s degree, with a master’s degree and cloud certifications also advantageous.
