Responsibilities
- Conceive and build services for data validation, transformation, loading, and analytics.
- Assist other teams in architecting applications using Data team services.
- Evaluate open-source technologies to find optimal solutions.
- Collaborate with Application Development and Product Management teams to scale services.
- Provide analytics on usage patterns and assist with capacity planning.
- Design large-scale, reliable enterprise services.
- Create scalable data mining and analytics frameworks.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in building scalable distributed data systems.
- Proficiency in Scala, Python, Java, or Golang.
- Strong skills in data structures and algorithms.
- Experience with automated testing and code coverage measurement.
- Proven experience with technologies like Spark, Kafka, Kubernetes, and others.
- Experience in designing fault-tolerant distributed systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Bonus for contributions to the open-source community.
