Base Salary
$185k - $218k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and launch new products in collaboration with customers, engineers, and leaders.
- Own end-to-end application development from shaping ideas through delivery and customer impact.
- Build scalable APIs and integrate third-party services.
- Develop asynchronous event-based architecture capable of handling very high traffic.
- Partner with customers, customer success, and stakeholders to translate needs into useful product features.
- Maintain reliable, maintainable code through testing, reviews, and sound engineering practices.
- Run and measure product experiments and use results to guide future development.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or an engineering discipline.
- At least 5 years of full-stack software development experience.
- Advanced knowledge of Ruby/Rails, JavaScript/React, or similar languages and frameworks.
- Experience founding or working in early roles at successful, fast-paced startups.
- Ability to validate customer needs, gain team alignment, and rapidly ship MVPs in an ambiguous early-stage environment.
- Preferred experience scaling technical architecture to more than 10 million users, including observability tooling and container orchestration.
- Preferred background in trust and safety, identity verification, background checks, or criminal data.
- Preferred expertise in data analysis and processing.
- Preferred experience building and working with scrapers and scraping technology.
