Responsibilities
- Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated web application test scripts using Playwright and Cypress.
- Create and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on business requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Perform UI, functional, regression, smoke, exploratory, API, and other software testing activities.
- Execute automated test suites, analyze results, identify defects, and document test execution outcomes.
- Maintain and enhance automation frameworks and reusable test components.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Developers, and QA team members to understand requirements and report issues.
- Log defects and contribute to software quality improvements throughout the Software Testing Life Cycle.
Requirements
- 2–3 years of experience across the Software Testing Life Cycle.
- Hands-on experience with Playwright and Cypress for UI automation.
- Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript; Java experience is an advantage and Python knowledge is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of developing and maintaining automation frameworks.
- Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming concepts, coding best practices, and RESTful API testing.
- Familiarity with Cucumber, JUnit, or TestNG.
- Experience with Git-based version control systems such as GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket.
- Good-to-have experience with API automation using Playwright API, Karate, Rest Assured, or Postman.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted testing tools, CI/CD tools, build tools, Selenium, Java-based automation, cloud testing, mobile automation, performance testing, reporting tools, containers, and application security testing.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
