Base Salary

$250k - $413k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement automated tests and tooling to ensure high-quality streaming experiences across TV and Web devices.
  • Improve build, integration, CI/CD, release automation, and developer productivity workflows.
  • Own well-scoped test automation projects through production delivery.
  • Use data and metrics to investigate quality and reliability issues and identify root causes.
  • Partner with engineers across teams to scope and deliver projects end to end.
  • Contribute to playback quality, performance, reliability, and release improvements at global scale.
  • Use GenAI in development, test automation, and CI/CD or release processes.

Requirements

  • Roughly 3+ years of software engineering experience focused on test development, or equivalent depth.
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript and/or TypeScript.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Spinnaker, or GitHub Actions.
  • Ability to debug and extend build and release pipelines.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Willingness to provide thoughtful code reviews and share knowledge.
  • Exposure to A/B testing or experimentation workflows.
  • Nice to have experience with streaming media playback, architecture, and video-streaming industry protocols.
  • Demonstrated experience using GenAI in day-to-day development workflows, including test automation and CI/CD or release processes.
