Quality Assurance Tester
TELUS DigitalResponsibilities
- Collaborate with developers and product owners to understand feature scope.
- Develop automation scripts for unit, integration, end-to-end, and UI testing.
- Advocate for testing best practices like TDD, CI, and CD.
- Engage in all phases of the agile development cycle and address technical debt.
- Identify and report defects and inconsistencies in product behavior.
- Conduct manual testing and lead Exploratory Testing sessions.
- Perform automation audits to ensure test accuracy and efficiency.
- Maintain documentation in Confluence and other knowledge-sharing platforms.
Requirements
- Demonstrable leadership skills in testing methods and tools.
- Strong experience in developing test scripts for functional and regression testing.
- Familiarity with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery practices.
- Experience with REST API testing and scripting in JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Ability to document defects and inconsistencies in product behavior.
- Strong communication skills in an Agile environment.
