Responsibilities
- Lead highly complex, multidisciplinary cloud and infrastructure consulting engagements for enterprise customers.
- Define sourcing strategies, select providers, and align technology decisions with customer IT and automation strategies.
- Develop future-state infrastructure and network visions, architectures, and roadmaps.
- Prioritize use cases and conduct ROI and business-case analyses.
- Capture, prioritize, and analyze functional and non-functional technical requirements.
- Incorporate security and resiliency into future-state designs and identify improvements to cost, risk, capacity, productivity, and performance.
- Contribute to consulting intellectual capital, practice resources, and organizational technology strategies.
- Collaborate with consultants, architects, project managers, and cross-functional technical subject matter experts.
Requirements
- Sales and consulting knowledge is required.
- Experience as a Cloud Architect, Specialist AI Architect, Specialist, or in a similar role is required.
- ITIL expertise and certifications are required.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills for technical and non-technical audiences are required.
- Understanding of DevSecOps, Agile, and Scrum constructs is required.
- Subject matter expertise in at least one platform such as cloud computing, a cloud hyperscaler, X86, mainframe, or midrange systems is required.
- TOGAF expertise and certifications are preferred.
- Experience with IT operating models and building organizations to deploy and support technologies is preferred.
- Advanced certification in relevant technologies is preferred.
- Ability to explain the impact of key technologies on security, availability, cost, and capacity is preferred.
- Experience with Kanban, SAFe, and Scrum is preferred.
