Responsibilities

Design, build, test, deploy, and maintain software applications and services.
Independently own delivery of complex features, services, or technical components.
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to translate business and user needs into scalable and maintainable technical solutions.
Contribute to system and solution design, architecture decisions, technical tradeoffs, and implementation approaches.
Use AI-assisted development tools for coding, debugging, documentation, testing, and analysis.
Participate in code reviews and uphold coding standards, quality expectations, and secure development practices.
Troubleshoot and resolve software defects, performance issues, and reliability concerns.
Contribute across requirements, design, implementation, testing, release, and support phases of the SDLC.
Create and maintain unit tests, integration tests, and other validation approaches.
Apply software design principles, patterns, algorithms, and data structures.
Improve development workflows, automation, observability, and engineering efficiency.
Explore AI and machine learning capabilities and recommend practical applications.
Mentor junior engineers through technical guidance, code reviews, and modeling strong engineering practices.

At least 5 years of relevant and related work experience.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent years of relevant work experience; additional experience may substitute for an advanced degree.
Proficiency in one or more languages such as TypeScript, Java, C#, or Python.
Experience delivering production-grade software and independently owning significant features or technical components.
Ability to analyze diverse technical problems and apply sound judgment to identify effective solutions.
Experience using AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity and software quality.
Ability to use AI tools responsibly with attention to security, privacy, reliability, maintainability, and human oversight.
Experience with modern software development practices, version control, CI/CD pipelines, code reviews, and Agile or Kanban methodologies.
Strong understanding of software design principles, design patterns, algorithms, and data structures.
Familiarity with SQL and database concepts; hands-on database experience is preferred.
Familiarity with OWASP threats, mitigation techniques, and secure coding practices.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities with limited day-to-day supervision.
