Responsibilities
- Design and develop PLC control systems and related software and business applications.
- Develop user interfaces and HMIs for machinery products.
- Execute projects from system design and programming through testing, documentation, procurement, installation, and startup support.
- Manage vendors and contractors as part of project execution.
- Troubleshoot machinery issues and provide technical support to technicians and customers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent technical degree.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for machinery design, programming, and troubleshooting.
- Technical knowledge of networking, database systems, control theory, real-time systems, and electronics.
- Experience with multiple platforms and programming languages, including C and object-oriented languages.
- Ability to learn new technologies, work independently or on a team, and perform in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Located within easy reach of Malmö or willing to relocate to Malmö, Sweden.
