Responsibilities

  • Propose, design, implement, and support features for the MongoDB Atlas API Platform and MongoDB Atlas DevTools, including AtlasCLI.
  • Build tooling that helps MongoDB users and developers succeed through APIs and related developer tools.
  • Design and develop software integration components using MongoDB technology and integrate them with partner frameworks or solutions.
  • Incrementally deliver elements of sophisticated software projects.
  • Investigate and resolve customer problems as part of the team’s Level 2 support rotation.
  • Lead projects, contribute ideas to the team roadmap, improve team practices, and mentor other team members.

Requirements

  • Experience building Infrastructure as Code tooling and integrations.
  • Familiarity with cloud infrastructure platforms, tools, and concepts such as Amazon AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Microsoft Azure.
  • Experience with at least one of Golang, Java, Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript is desirable.
  • Interest in building systems that manage infrastructure at scale.
  • Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively across multiple teams and time zones.
  • Ability to independently coordinate time, prioritize multiple tasks, and act without manager oversight.
