Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, apply, and optimize machine learning and AI algorithms and models for defense applications.
- Collaborate with data scientists to preprocess and analyze large datasets and create high-quality training data.
- Develop scalable software solutions that integrate machine learning and AI algorithms into existing systems and workflows.
- Conduct experiments to evaluate and refine model performance for reliability and accuracy.
- Participate in requirements gathering, design, implementation, testing, documentation, and other software development lifecycle activities.
- Track advances in machine learning and AI technologies and apply relevant best practices.
- Prepare technical reports and presentations for stakeholders.
Requirements
- Current Secret clearance and ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
- 8-10 years of software engineering experience focused on machine learning/AI and data analysis.
- Proficiency in Python, Java, or C++, with experience using machine learning and AI libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.
- Strong understanding of machine learning and AI algorithms, statistical analysis, and data mining techniques.
- Experience with data management tools and frameworks, version control systems, and cloud computing platforms.
- Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, and deployment of machine learning and AI models in cloud environments.
- Effective problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills.
- Preferred qualifications include a current TS/SCI clearance, defense or government contracting experience, cybersecurity knowledge, familiarity with LangGraph, OpenAI SDK, MCP, and A2A, and experience running language models locally with tools such as HuggingFace transformers, ollama, LM Studio, or llama.cpp.
