Responsibilities
- Own and evolve the automation strategy within a product engineering team.
- Design, develop, maintain, and execute scalable automated test frameworks and suites across multiple product lines.
- Perform UI, API, integration, database, regression, compatibility, end-to-end, performance, and non-functional testing.
- Identify, report, troubleshoot, and validate defects in collaboration with development teams.
- Integrate test automation tools, build verification systems, IDE plugins, and linting programs.
- Write and enforce maintainable test automation scripts according to internal coding standards.
- Collaborate with DevOps and cloud teams to integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines and support infrastructure reliability.
- Standardize QA processes, methodologies, and best practices across Agile teams while driving continuous quality improvement.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with test automation, CI/CD pipelines, and continuous testing practices.
- Experience leading QA-process standardization and quality improvement across Agile teams.
- Strong understanding of test automation frameworks and testing across UI, API, integration, and database layers.
- Hands-on UI automation experience with Playwright and Cypress.
- Experience with API testing and automation using REST Assured with Java, Postman, or Bruno.
- Strong QA experience with Enterprise Java technologies.
- Experience with regression, integration, compatibility, and end-to-end testing.
- Working knowledge of performance and load testing, with experience or exposure to K6, JMeter, or similar tools.
- Experience with CI/CD platforms such as Azure DevOps.
- Preferred experience with Selenium WebDriver, Cucumber, Sitespeed, Azure, Kubernetes or AKS, Grafana, and Azure Monitor.
- Insurance, reinsurance, or financial-services experience is beneficial.

- Base salary range of EUR 42,000 to EUR 70,000 for a full-time role in Spain.
