Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable automated test frameworks and scripts for embedded automotive systems using Python and C/C++.
- Configure and build custom physical HIL test benches integrating vehicle ECUs with simulated real-time environment models.
- Analyze technical specifications, identify gaps in system requirements, and author comprehensive automated test suites.
- Execute automated test suites across SIL, MIL, and HIL environments.
- Analyze test captures, isolate low-level system failures, and create detailed engineering reports.
- Validate automotive communication networks, network topologies, and diagnostic routing, including CAN-FD, LIN, Automotive Ethernet, UDS, and DoIP.
- Integrate automated test loops into Git-driven CI/CD pipelines for high-frequency regression farm execution.
- Collaborate with Firmware, Systems Architecture, Quality, and TPM teams on test specifications and ASPICE-compliant requirement traceability.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 5+ years of hands-on test automation experience for high-integrity embedded systems for the Senior level, or 8+ years for the Staff level.
- Expert-level proficiency in Python and Bash scripting and practical reading knowledge of C for code-level debugging.
- Direct experience architecting or heavily extending Python-based test frameworks such as Pytest or OpenHTF.
- Experience with Docker.
- Advanced user-level comfort navigating, configuring, and scripting within GNU/Linux environments.
- Advanced user-level experience with Git and modern branch management strategies.
- Deep technical understanding of automotive network and diagnostic protocols, including CAN, LIN, and Ethernet.
