Base Salary
$102k - $219k/yr
Responsibilities
- Partner with product managers, engineers, and partner teams to understand customer requirements and deliver inventory, ownership, and governance features.
- Design, develop, test, and operate reliable services and developer tools with limited oversight.
- Build and evolve Inventory-as-Code automation for validation, reconciliation, governance, and engineering-system integrations.
- Deliver maintainable code with testing, telemetry, monitoring, documentation, reliability, scalability, and operational supportability.
- Break down engineering efforts, provide estimates, and drive assigned features through design, implementation, rollout, and support.
- Participate in the on-call rotation, investigate service degradation and customer issues, restore service, and contribute to root-cause analysis and prevention.
- Learn and apply new technologies and engineering practices, including AI-assisted development, to improve developer experiences and service reliability.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field and 2+ years of technical engineering experience coding in C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python, or equivalent experience.
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements, including the Microsoft Cloud background check.
- Preferred: bachelor's degree and 4+ years of technical engineering experience, or a master's degree and 2+ years of technical engineering experience, or equivalent experience.
- Preferred: proven experience designing and building distributed services at scale.
