Responsibilities
- Build and maintain reusable internal services, APIs, and platform capabilities for Alan’s product teams.
- Develop core services such as payment, messaging, document processing, and pricing systems.
- Build shared platforms, operational dashboards, automation, and reusable UI components that support reliability, observability, scalability, and consistent user experiences.
- Work closely with product crews, the Architecture Group, and the Tech Foundation Area to ensure systems scale globally and align with technical strategy.
- Improve adoption and reliability of internal services and contribute to product direction, mentoring, and long-term platform ownership.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in backend, platform, or infrastructure-oriented engineering roles.
- Experience designing and maintaining internal services, APIs, or SDKs.
- Ability to simplify complex problems through clear abstractions and elegant, long-term solutions.
- Platform-as-a-product mindset, with other engineers treated as customers.
- Collaborative, humble, and motivated by enabling other engineers.
- Willingness to leverage AI to improve roles and scalability.
- Interest in healthcare technology.
- Fluency in English; French is not required.
- Legal eligibility to work in France, Belgium, or Spain.
