Responsibilities

  • Design, create, develop, and improve software features, packaging, tools, testing, test automation, continuous integration, delivery, and documentation.
  • Build and maintain automated unit, integration, and system-level tests.
  • Triage, debug, and resolve software issues.
  • Own software quality and drive continuous improvement.
  • Provide accurate estimates and deliver commitments transparently.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, users, and internal teams on design, implementation, approvals, and product success.
  • Participate in technical discussions and present technical concepts clearly.
  • Follow and improve software development lifecycle and organizational processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • 3+ years of software development experience.
  • Experience with software development in C/C++ on Linux/UNIX, embedded systems, or Windows technologies such as .NET, C#, JavaScript, and SQL.
  • Experience with one or more modern technologies including Qt/QML, Node.js, Golang, React, TypeScript, Python, PostgreSQL, Docker, and MQTT.
  • Advantageous experience with IPC, RPC, sockets, A/V players, Ethernet, ARINC 429, RS-485, I2C, SPI, MDIO, CAN, npm, Bower, or Webpack.
  • Debugging and troubleshooting skills.
