Base Salary
$64k - $128k/yr
Responsibilities
- Implement, test, and document software solutions for telecommunications and IP/computer networking equipment in the cybersecurity domain.
- Develop concepts, identify solutions to user requests, and assess solution feasibility with a product development team.
- Contribute across software development, security analysis, software tools, testing, development environments, and system infrastructure.
- Use automation tools, laboratory test equipment, and protocol analyzers in a telecommunications development lab.
- Debug system-level issues and support networking and telecommunications equipment installation, configuration, and maintenance.
- Travel to CACI locations or customer sites as necessary and follow company ethical, compliance, and environmental health and safety policies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, computer science, electrical engineering, or a related technical discipline, or an equivalent combination of education, skills, and experience.
- Zero to five years of experience.
- Experience with RISC-V assembly, device drivers, hardware-layer coding, and kernels.
- Software development skills in C, C++, Java, and Python.
- Familiarity with software engineering processes, development tools, IP networking or telecommunications equipment, and system-level debugging.
- Preferred qualifications include Windows, Linux, or Unix development; JavaScript, ARM, MIPS, or x86; software security concepts; Internet routing; and IP-based telephony.
- Strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- No clearance is required to begin employment, but a Top Secret clearance is required for continued employment.
